Technical Center Acquires ICP

Heatbath Corporation has recently added a Perkin Elmer Dual View Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) to the Technical Center at our Indian Orchard, MA location.  Not only can the ICP be used to measure low levels of metals in solution, but it can also be used to identify which metals are present in an unknown sample.  Analysis time will be reduced since ICP has the capability of analyzing for multiple metals all at once. This instrument will be used to qualify raw materials and analyze customer samples and will be particularly useful when the identification of metal contamination is required.
