Decorative Plating - Chrome Brightener Systems

Decorative Hexavalent Chrome Plating is used for tarnish resistance, scratch and wear resistance, and for its high reflectivity.  Heatbath® proprietary Chrome Catalysts increase plating speeds and produce harder deposits with better coverage.  The resultant plated surfaces are a pleasing blue-white color with less iridescence and staining. Other advantages of our Chrome Brightener Systems include a higher tolerance to impurities, less sensitivity to current interruptions and ease of plating on passive surfaces.

A liquid catalyst additive for decorative chrome brightener systems designed for exceptional covering power. Used to increase cathode current efficiencies and operational current densities without staining.

Chrome Catalyst 550

Hexavalent Chromium Additive - Functional

A powdered catalyst additive for hard chrome brightener systems. Provides brighter and harder deposits. Increases efficiencies and operational current densities. Non-staining.

CAMS

Chromic Acid Mist Suppressant

Used to reduce chromic acid emissions through the development of a foam blanket on the surface of the working bath. Reduces surface tension, thereby reducing drag-out. This additive is very beneficial for complying with new hexavalent chromium OSHA exposure regulations.
