Uniform carbon case depths, ranging from a few thousandths to over 0.100 inches, are produced rapidly and economically by Heatbath®/Park Metallurgical's carburizing products. Our product line is the industry's most complete and diverse.
These standard industry products are designed for deep and shallow case and high and low dragout operations. Plus, these easy maintenance salts provide for high quality, uniform shop production.
Also, there are the carbon-atmosphere-producing liquids using the drip method in place of the expensive and high maintenance endothermic and exothermic atmosphere producing generators for atmosphere carburizing.

CYANIDE BASE LIQUID CARBURIZERS
PEN KARB DEEPCASE Stable, barium-energized, liquid deep case carburizing salt producing carbon case depths ranging up to 0.100 inches. Provides equal or better case characteristics than gas or pack carburizing.
PARK KASE 5 Water-soluble, liquid carburizing salt offering easy cleaning, good fluidity and high stability. Will produce carbonitrided cases in lower temperature ranges and carbon cases in higher temperature ranges, usually up to about 0.050 inches.
PARK KASE 6 High cyanide content salt additive used to maintain carburizing activity in Park Kase 5 when dragout is low.
PARK KASE 8 Water-soluble liquid carburizing salt of maximum strength. It is designed as a replenishment material for Park Kase 5 baths where dragout is unusually low.
ATMOSPHERE
CARBO FLUID H Organic liquid which is vaporized in a closed furnace to provide a carburizing atmosphere. Available in 5-gallon pails or 55-gallon drums.
CARBO FLUID D Organic liquid which is vaporized in a closed furnace to provide a carburizing atmosphere. In some applications it is found to exhibit higher carburization potential than Carbo Fluid H.
